The first blog by a British prisoner. Variously described as being "obviously extremely intelligent" (Michael Gove), "the most interesting interview I have ever done" (Michael Portillo), and a "fully paid up member of the awkward squad" (Parole Board), I try to generate debate around the moral and political nexus that is imprisonment. Imprisoned between ages 14 to 47, released on Licence in August 2012

YO HO HO HO
Thank you all for your interest, support and greetings. I am touched. May you all have a happy holiday season, and don't do anything I wouldn't do...
Ha ha ha! Don't do anything you wouldn't do! I doubt that leaves me much scope! Actually I'm in happy hermit mode pottering about at home on my own. Very nice. I hope you get some share of joy too, Ben.
Happy christmas. And thank you to you, and also to your unnamed faithful friend who brings us your thought provoking missives. Good on both of you. Doug
We have had a great day, merry xmas to you all. Though i did wake up this morning and think of all our wonderful animal rights prisoners, who woke up in jail to day, plus, i've taken 2 calls from prison today. Nothing is forever, no even a custodial sentence.
Happy Christmas Ben, Ben's Ed and all the other followers :)

ReplyDeleteHappy Xmas,
ReplyDeleteOff to the scrubs next yeat to see a cousin. The wonders of a life of alcohol addiction.
