I hated the lines at supermarkets or the motor vehicle office. It was doubly hard trying to concentrate on the transaction while people were milling about. While I wish no one to go to prison other than for 24 hours - just for them to get a feel of what its like being locked in a room the size of a bathroom and then having to determine who or what is a threat. Then again, it shouldn't be like this. It should be about recovery and education.

Cheers and Kudos for the posts -

PeteMax
JailGuide.comInmate Searchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11731662185325747496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184990032979540229.post-18132591539300731252012-02-26T17:29:29.642+00:002012-02-26T17:29:29.642+00:00Ben, i know exactly what you mean. I can read any situation, the differece is out here there is alcohol, and that often fuels trouble, it can make some people "turn" at the drop of a hat. Mad people are the only ones who are unpredictable in jail, out here it is the drunks. I doubt you have been in a pub yet? ?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184990032979540229.post-27282257022954531412012-02-26T17:14:25.908+00:002012-02-26T17:14:25.908+00:00I'm not sure what to say to this post Ben. I'm ever ready too and I've never been to jail ( nor do I ever want to go).

Its partly about personality, and also about adapting to your environment, some of our environment is scary and hostile, especially for us proles who live in areas of social deprivation. But I couldn't compare it to prison, because, like I say, I've never been there. However, it certainly is a long way from peace and love out here.

All those years in prison is bound to have affected you in some ways, Ben, and so now you know and can understand how it has done this to you in this way.

I guess the best thing would be to turn it around and make good use of the heightened awareness you have, don't ask me how, I'm sure you will know when it can come in handy at some point in the future ;)Sophie Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04336695401529252201noreply@blogger.com
