Editor's note

Unfortunately, No 10 has rejected the petition I sent them to call for Ben's release. Thought it was worth a try, but their response was: Individual legal cases are a matter for direct communication with the Home Office.

Your petition will now appear in the list of rejected petitions.

  2. Can you post the text of your petition? Because if there is no extant legal case referred to and you are not calling for one (a legal review is not a case) then the grounds for rejection will be spurious.

  3. I should have realised as it is not in within the PM's remit to do anything.

There is another petition site online which I signed relating to the disappearance of Madeline McCann. This may be worth pursuing.
