Ho hum. The Editor and myself asked for permission to take a short break in Cornwall. Since my release we have both been pretty busy and some time together bonding in front of a log fire would be so good. Probation have refused permission.

Probation likes to think that you can't survive without them. If they can't find a valid reason to get involved (in what seems to me to have been quite a smooth transition onto Civvy Street) they throw you a curve-ball.... just because they can.
ReplyDeleteNothing to do with Cornwall or probation but shouldn't this now be "Ben's Not In Prison Any Longer Blog" or "Ben's Life Licence Blog"?
ReplyDeleteWhat did I say about your struggle through life? This is Hell, because "money", is behind most of it, from cradle, to grave, and beyond! Linked through the justice system, politics, business, and religion, one secret society, is what we all keep coming up against. You know who they are, so you must know this is really Hell? There is nowhere lower than this place.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the reason given? What is the rationale that the decision was based on? Interested to hear.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the mention in your column this month and good luck out here in the big wide world. And never forget - as I try not to - those we have left behind.
