In the general population, 5% of men and 2% of women suffer from 2 or
more mental disorders.

Amongst prisoners, the rate is 72% of men
and 70% of women.

Here's a Thing...

There is not a single jot of evidence that shows that long term imprisonment causes lasting psychological damage. Hmmm.
