There is some wicked irony in here somewhere. The poppies we wear to
honour our fallen heroes are assembled by, amongst others, sex
offenders in prison.

The first blog by a British prisoner. Variously described as being "obviously extremely intelligent" (Michael Gove), "the most interesting interview I have ever done" (Michael Portillo), and a "fully paid up member of the awkward squad" (Parole Board), I try to generate debate around the moral and political nexus that is imprisonment. Imprisoned between ages 14 to 47, released on Licence in August 2012
Brilliant!

ReplyDeleteYes - but I am sure 'sex offenders' respect our fallen heroes just as much as anyone else.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, that's a valid point - who's to say that some haven't served in the military in the past too?
ReplyDeleteJust shows you how complicated real life is if approach it with any level of maturity.
