Eureka

Courtesy of the canteen facilities in the visits room, I have discovered the joys of "cheesy chips".  You guessed it - fries sprinkled with grated cheese!

What else have I been missing??

  2. I think this could be the new image for your release campaign. "This man has been in a cell for so long, he's never experienced one of life's greatest pleasures ... cheesy chips."

  4. You've got use really hot chips, the cheese has to melt and go all stringy... you've got me feeling hungry now.
What else have you missed since about 1980? I read about a woman who was blind for 30 years and then her sight came back: she didn't recognise the place and neither will you. Some things are better, some are worse. I can't wait to read what you make of it!

  6. Nah, you haven't missed a thing Ben, its all been down hill since the seventies. Cheesy chips are a novelty, but after the second time of eating, they taste vile and are very bad for you too. Whoever invented them clearly wasn't thinking of the rising incidences of diabetes, were they?

  7. Don't know how to not be Anon but I am Ann. That has really made me think about how isolating prison is and how time/development passes prisoners by. There must be so much change in 30 years but we don't notice. It will be really interesting Ben to read your thoughts of the outside today when you are released (think you may wish to be back inside!) Lol

In 'Select profile' choose Name/URL and simply write your name. You can ignore the URL box.

  9. Cheesy chips and beans.

I think one big thing that you have missed in the last year and need to see is a 3D film. Not because a 3D film is better than a 2D film, but the technology and the illusion is fantastic.

Just make sure the first 3D film you see is not Shark Night 3D.
