As I am now blogging first hand, it's fair to expect me to respond to comments on a more frequent and ad hoc basis. That is part of the blogging experience, is it not?
Alas, every time I try to leave a comment of my own, it vanishes. Quite what the tech problem is, I have yet to work it out. Once I do, brace yourselves!

One more reason to switch to WordPress! Ed
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your firsthand thoughts, Ben!
ReplyDeleteSwitching to Wordpress isn't a bad idea. Or else installing Disqus as the commenting system on Blogger - Google comments are horrible. And perhaps a facelift of the blog design - it does look a bit bleak! But content is king, so so long as the posts keep coming....
ReplyDeleteI've rarely commented over the years I've been reading, so I might as well take this chance to say I'm pleased you're on the outside, and wish you all the best. You've been a constant source of intelligent reading for me over the last couple of years, for which I thank you.
If you do decide to switch to something different please make sure us non-IT experts know how to access anything new - please!!
ReplyDeleteExactly Mary. And I wondered why you weren't popping up on here with comments Ben. I imagined you set the cat amongst the pigeons and sat observing with a wry smile! Have read these blogs from the start and they never fail to make me think or make me laugh or both!
ReplyDeleteJust realised it may be a problem with my Netbook - watch this space! Ben
ReplyDeleteAlso: check the spam filter. It's a devil for holding onto to valid posts :/
ReplyDeleteBen,
ReplyDeleteAre you still in need of a recent spec computer??
Oops, I meant laptop type thing. Might be able to sort you out.
DeleteHe is now! See today's post.
DeleteI see Ben is now sorted out. Good job as I went to do a clean reinstall of the laptop I have and it has decided not to 'play nicely'. In other words, it is now a doorstop!
